Last week, we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Week) in school. We had a ceilí (dance) in the yard on Wednesday 16th where classes danced the Walls of Limerick and Shoe the Donkey. Ms. McCarthy has been teaching 2nd, 3rd and 5th an easy reel, and they danced some of that for us too. It was a beautiful sunny day and the whole school enjoyed the chance to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge together.
