Our Walk for Charlie

Today, 13-5-2022,  all the pupils from St. Joseph’s went up the hills on our Walk for Charlie. The infant classes walked with their buddies from 5th and 6th. We saw cowslips, bluebells, and lots of other flowers. We also saw the Famine Graveyard and the quarry.

When we got back to school, we recorded a video message for Charlie Bird, sending him our best wishes. Finally we released the pink balloons. It was a lovely day.

Thanks to all those who made a donation in support of the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association and Pieta.

Thanks to our parent helpers and Garda John Kingston for all their help in ensuring that everyone was very safe today.
