We hope you and your family are safe and well.

Because of Covid-19, we, like many other organizations, have had to find other ways to run events and campaigns. We hope to provide you with support and assistance in the coming weeks with the contents of this newsletter. And if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact school@cnag.ie.

Sincerely,

Conradh na Gaeilge Youth Team

The Home Show

As a result of Covid-19 we have decided to amend the Roadshow and adapt it to school students at home. We are adapting the workshop online as a webinar.
This workshop is suitable for secondary school students aged 15-17, usually transition year. No need to worry about the standard of pupils’ Irish, the workshop can be conducted bilingually if required.

For those who have already done the Roadshow during the 2019/20 school year, we are currently developing other workshops that will be ready later in the school year.

The Morning Praise

Every morning on Conradh na Gaeilge’s accounts we are sending out a recommendation for Irish in the home. The recommendations are varied and vary for school pupils, parents and teachers. We’re on  Instagram ,  Twitter , Facebook and Snapchat, if you don’t follow us already!

The National Collection
For the first time in 100 years, Conradh na Gaeilge has had to cancel its national collection.

We regretted this decision, having organized collections for over 120 years but made it for the health and safety of branches, volunteers and supporters around the country.

The organization, both locally and nationally, will be deeply affected by this decision. We are grateful for any support that can be provided in the meantime by donations at  bit.ly/volunteering , or by sending a text with the word GAEILGE to 50300.
